Obidos is a town with a population of around 3100, located in the Oeste Subregion, of the Estremadura Province, in Portugal. Obidos is an example of medieval architecture. The streets, squares, walls and the castle are popular tourist destinations. In July Obidos castle and the surrounding town recreate the spirit of medieval Europe with a festival. There are hundreds of entertainers and stall holders dressed as merchants, jugglers, jesters, wandering minstrels, soldiers and more.
