British Airways has teamed up with celebrities including One Direction, Sarah Millican Caroline Flack, Olly Murs and Matt Cardle, to produce limited edition eye masks for Red Nose Day (Friday 15 March).

The special taupe coloured eye masks feature personal messages from the stars, which will be handed out to hundreds of customers flying with British Airways on Red Nose Day.

Mary Barry, British Airways’ community manager, said: “In keeping with the theme of Red Nose Day, we wanted to Do Something Funny For Money, and hopefully these eye masks will raise a smile from our customers and cabin crew when they are worn in flight.”

The exclusive eye masks cannot be bought anywhere, and will be given out to a number of customers in Heathrow Terminal 5, along with a handful to win on the airline’s official Twitter page @British_Airways.

As part of its fundraising for Red Nose Day, British Airways has teamed up with Bananarama, Tony Hadley (Spandau Ballet), Kim Wilde and Go West, to host an 80s Gig in the Sky on Sunday 10 March. The event hopes to set a new Guinness World Record for ‘Highest Concert’ flying up to 43,000ft.
