Romantic Planet Vacations (RPV) has just released its new wedding packages for Europe and to kick-off this product-launch, the company is offering a savings of 5 per cent on wedding packages to Italy and Greece booked before May 15, 2007.

Package options include an intimate wedding ceremony in a historical villa near Portofino for 10 people including transfers; four nights’ accommodations in a luxury four-star hotel; flowers; wedding cake; a bottle of champagne; the services of a wedding co-ordinator and photographer; and a spa package, romantic wedding dinner and tour of Cinque Terre for the bride and groom for only $2,090 per person.

The Venice wedding package for ten passengers includes three nights’ luxury palace hotel accommodations with breakfast; a wedding lunch for ten near St. Mark's Square with wine; water-taxi for group to Palazzo Cavalli for the ceremony; services of a wedding co-ordinator, interpreter and photographer; a CD with 200 photos; bouquet of roses and boutonniere; a  romantic gondola ride for bride and groom after the ceremony, and a bottle of champagne for $2,080 per person.
 
For Greece, one of the company's most interesting wedding packages includes having two donkeys traditionally take the bride and groom to a stunning wedding location in Santorini escorted by two local musicians. After the exchange of vows, wedding cake and champagne, the happy couple will travel by a car decorated with flowers to arrive for a romantic dinner in a deluxe restaurant situated on the cliffs overlooking the sea. The package is topped off with a sunset cruise along the Caldera on a 19th-century yacht. This package includes much more and costs $6,370.
