Calle San Miguel's shops, bars and cafes are a social focus for the city of bargain-priced resort hotels. The former fisherman's district, La Carihuela, is as close to Spanish culture as it gets. Walk between beaches and bars, or rent a bike or scooter if you want to speed things up.
